Features - Spacious panoramic terrace

Description The outstanding feature of this Positano rental villa is the large terrace at the front with lounge and dining areas filled with colourful potted geraniums and framed by flowered shrubs, vines of red bougainvillea, citrus and ornamental trees. The terrace is equipped with a dining table for eight, an open shower, barbecue, an outdoor lounge set and is shaded by awning and a white canvas umbrella. From this vantage point one can enjoy beautiful views of the pastel coloured villas and cascading palaces of the village of Positano. The apartment is accessed from the terrace, through a set of French doors into an open plan living room divided into kitchen, dining and lounge areas. The living area has an airy and modern feel and is decorated in a pleasant deep blue and white theme with a high vaulted ceiling and large arched window overlooking the terrace and the sea. It is comfortably furnished with two leather sofas, a dining table for eight, a flat screen TV with CD and DVD player. The modern kitchen corner, separated from the rest of the room by a marble topped bench, is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, gas stove with electric oven, dishwasher and many small appliances. From one side of the living room, a short corridor leads to the night area where are four bedrooms, each decorated with attractive soft furnishings and fitted with air conditioning / heating units with individual controls. Two of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, while two share a bathroom in the corridor.
Position Villa Georgina is located in the very centre of Positano. The closest beach is the Marina of Positano, called Spiaggia Grande. It can only be reached on foot in 5-6 minutes by following a charming downhill alley closed to traffic, which will take you to the beach in approximately 600m. This alley is full of colourful shops and boutiques, displaying fashions and local hand-made goods. The closest grocery stores, cafes and restaurants are all within an easy walk (300m) from the villa. Ferries and hydrofoils to Capri (20min), Naples (50 min), Amalfi (30 min) and Salerno (1½h) leave from a pier to the right of the main beach. Distances The other villages of the Amalfi coast are easily reached by blue SITA buses, stopping at 300 metres from the house. Sita runs regular services to and from Amalfi and Sorrento, every 45 minutes - 1 hour (depending on season) - Sorrento - 10 kms (all facilities and train to Naples)

Special Notes for Villa Georgina 2012 prices are provisional and may be revised, however most owners will accept bookings at 2011 prices until the new prices are confirmed. Please send an enquiry and we'll respond with a firm quote. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of € 1,500.00 is payable on arrival at the property, in cash (euro) or double signed travellers' cheques. No other form of payment will be accepted. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: - Normal arrival times are between 15:30 (3:30pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Check out is by 10.00 on the day of departure.
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late or Sunday arrivals. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
Services included: - Use of electricity up to 200 kwh; (excess will be charged at the cost of Eur 0.40 per Kwh)
- Water, Gas, Change of linen midweek
Extras: supplied and payable locally - Mandatory weekly cleaning: Eur 150.00, with maid service for 3 hours every morning, 5 days a week and final cleaning on departure.
- Food shopping and delivery: Eur 30.00
- Cook service: 20,00 Euro per hour, with a minimum charge of 180.00 Eur
- High chairs and cots are available at an additional cost of € €50 per week
- Baby sitting: Eur 15.00 per hour; porter service: € 5,00 per each piece; Personal laundry service:€ 20,00 per load
- Car parking space in a private parking lot, situated at 5 minutes walk from the property: € 20.00 per day per car
