DescriptionWe were lucky to come across this little gem of an apartment whilst passing through Rome and our little Canon camera really doesn't do it justice at all. We'll be back to get some better shots in the near future, but in the meantime, we thought we should list it as even our 'tourist' shots convey that it is a special apartment offering comfortable and elegant accommodation. A lift in the guarded entrance foyer provides access to the fourth floor where a door provides direct entrance to the spacious living and dining room of the apartment. A rich tapestry, precious artwork and antique mirrors adorn the walls, whilst a beautiful chandelier is positioned over the dining table. The apartment is light and airy, having two windows - one into the enclosed courtyard and another over a small laneway. A two seater couch and armchair are positioned in one end of the room which is also equipped with TV, DVD and stereo. A small hallway leads into the compact , but well equipped walkthrough kitchen, on the other side of which is the delightful bedroom with a built in robe and dressing table and large window looking out over the internal courtyard. A bathroom is situated adjacent to the bedroom and is equipped with a shower and washing machine. Situated in a nice street, the apartments position is ideally located. The Italian Government is located just a few blocks away, and most of the main historical and art attractions are just a brief stroll as is the main shopping area.
Position Apartment Mercedes is situated in the fashionable eastern quarter of the city near the shopping precinct and the Barbarino subway station. Distances: - Barbarino subway station - 300m (4 mins)

Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €155 is payable on arrival at the villa and the preferred method is to place a reserve on your credit card. The reserve will be removed on final inspection excepting in the event of damage and therefore no charge will appear. Services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros): - Final cleaning fees are included in the rental amount as are electricity, gas and heating / airconditioning (where provided)
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
