Description

Several stairs lead up from the main pedestrian walkway between the town and the harbour into the entrance of Apartment Rosmarino on the first floor. Entering into a large open plan living area with wide leather sofa and a large square table for the whole family or friends, the room also has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Two large windows provide access to the balcony that is equipped with several directors chairs.

At the rear of the living room are a double bedroom and a bunk room. Access to the bathroom, tastefully furnished with a wooden wash-bowl and a cascade shower is through the second bedroom. The apartment is styled in a modern white colour.

Apartment Rosmarino offers air conditioning, TV, a washing machine, and a lovely balcony with a view down to the harbour area of Manarola.

This locality

Manarola

Manarola is the second village from the south and lies between Riomaggiore and Corniglia. A flat pedestrian walk leads from the station to the principal piazza that leads up to the centre of town along a sunken riverbed and down to the port area where the 'strada di amore' (walk of love) arrives from Riomaggiore.

In the Cinque Terra it is hard to find modern, clean and accessible accommodation, however here in Manarola we have managed to find some wonderful solutions.

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of €1

00 is payable on arrival at the villa. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras.

Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):

• Final cleaning costs are included in the villa rental amount. Additional mid week cleaning may be requested but will be charged as an extra;
• One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
• Utilities costs (except heating) are included in the villa rental price;
• Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

Other information

• Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
• Boats and bikes hire, food hampers, cooking and many other services mentioned on our booking form can be pre-arranged and prices will be provided on application.

Levanto

Levanto, a small village to the north of the Cinque Terra is the departure point for the famed CT walking path. Three minutes by train from the next village of Monterosso the village has a lovely sandy beach, car access and a good selection of restaurants, shops and cafes.> more

Corniglia, the middle town between Vernazza and Manarola is a hill town and significantly quieter than the other towns. It has a lovely main thoroughfare with a shaded and quiet piazza with an outdoor cafe. The thoroughfare finishes at a lovely scenic balcony overlooking the sea.> more
