Description The elegant interiors of Villa Alida are bright and airy, decorated in tones of blue against white washed walls and cool white tiled floors. The living room as well as the other rooms, open to the terrace. It has a fireplace, comfortable seating and nice pieces of modern art and objects. The kitchen is very well equipped and opens to the opposite sides of the house, each with a patio where one can have meals at different times of day, ensuring shelter from sun or wind. The house sleeps five people in a master bedroom, a twin smaller room and a single bedroom, so it is ideal for a family or a group of friends. Exiting the villa through secure locked gates in the fence that surrounds the property are a broad seaside walk and several car parks for beach goers. These provide a good insulation space to ensure that the villa does not suffer from excessive noise due to its close proximity to the beach and downtown area (5 mins walk). The property is very well located - apart from the vicinity to the beach, it offers the opportunity to visit many of the Val di Noto's charming baroque towns such as Modica, Scicli, Ragusa-Ibla and Noto, all within easy driving distance. For those who love the sea, beautiful coastal villages such as Sampieri, Pozzallo and Marzamemi as well as some of the island's greatest natural beauties, such as Capo Passero and the Vendicari nature reserve are also within easy reach.

Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of € 500.00 is payable on arrival at the property, in cash (euro) or double signed travellers' cheques. No other form of payment will be accepted. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: Normal arrival times are between 15:30 (3:30pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Check out is by 10.00 on the day of departure. Services included: - Utilities, final cleaning on departure; welcome hamper for breakfast
Extras - supplied and payable locally - Electricity is included up to 200 Kw; excess is payable extra at €0.25 per Kw.
