Description The owner of Villa Botticelli is a meticulous person who has recently converted an old monastery into a five star rural hotel in the area. This villa has been her pride and joy for many years and she has meticulously refurbished it to the very highest standard. Entering from a narrow road through electric gates, the property opens up to flowing lawns and well maintained gardens which look over the patchwork valleys and hills below and on to the Castello di Brolio and Siena in the distance. The three airconditioned structures consist of a main villa containing four double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, the main kitchen and large dining and living rooms. Approximately 50m at the left of the pool is the Porcinaia with its lovely open plan living/dining room which looks out on three sides over the gardens and valley below. It also has a double (or twin) bedroom, bathroom (with bath) and kitchen. At 50m from the main villa on the other side is the Capanna, a tall building with characteristic veranda. It has a lovely open plan downstairs with divans, table and chairs and open kitchen with adjacent bathroom, and stairs going up to a mezzanine level with two single beds (cannot be joined). For group get togethers, the main villa has a large paved patio with wisteria covered pergola furnished with an extendible stone table that can comfortably accommodate the 12 guests of the property. One of the features of this villa is that the owner offers a welcome dinner to all arriving guests and provides a maid and a cook for three hours each on 5 days of the week.
