Description The apartment of 80sqm is simply furnished but comfortable consisting of a separate entrance from the front gates leading onto a private outdoor patio with table and chairs. Enter into a living/dining room with an open kitchen (oven, 4 ring cooker, fridge with freezer) then a corridor leads to a double bedroom with a queen size bed and a single bed; a twin bedroom (can be double) and the bathroom. The apartment looks over the fields with forest border and the in-ground swimming pool. Running the length of the apartment is a long terrace - a perfect spot to enjoy an aperativo on sunset. The apartment also hasis iron, ironing board, washing machine and BBQ. The pool (12m x 4m) is situated down some garden steps in a mini forest approximately 100m from the main structure and there are many shaded areas where one can enjoy cool breezes or a lovely shaded lunch (see more photos) The nearby village of Le Grazie, within walking distance (12 mins), has simple shopping whilst Colle di Val d'Elsa at 2 km (about 20mins walk or a bus ride), is a lovely village with many shops, cafes restaurants and also known for the production of crystal glassware. Siena is just 28 km away and Firenze 55 kms away.
Position Casa Fonternino is situated 350m up a quiet country lane from a secondary road connecting local villages. The public bus stop is on this road. There is a gate providing access to a private parking spot below the villa. Distances - Le Grazie - 1.5km (local shops)

In fact, Colle di Val d'Elsa has a small but attractive old town with two important provincial museums, the Museum of Civic and Religious Art and the Archaeological Museum, as well as quite a good Museum of Lead-Crystal Glass.> more

Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of € 150 is payable on arrival at the property. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: - Normal arrival times are between 15:30 (3:30pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Departure is by 9:30 on the day of departure.
- The season for pool opening is May to September;
Services included and extras: - The weekly rental price includes water, gas, electricity; linen changed weekly and final cleaning.
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included. Additional changes may be requested at the cost of €12 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided;
- Heating, if required, is payable on the basis of consumption of gas at a cost of €1 per m3
- High chairs and cots are available at no additional cost but no linen is provided.
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
