DescriptionThe apartments and villetta are set in large gardens of 2ha (4 acres) featuring a wonderfully panoramic shared swimming pool (15x6m), a large and fragrant herb garden, large lawn areas and well maintained gardens. The apartments feature exposed timber beams, cotto flooring and are decorated in warm colours with coordinated fabrics and soft furnishings in traditional Tuscan country styling. Each apartment has an open fire and two feature traditional kitchens with hooded charcoal barbecues (braccia). The kitchens are well equipped with quality stainless steel appliances and the beds are extremely comfortable. Il Nido is definitely a destination for travellers looking for a peaceful location, surrounded by unspoilt nature. The property is surrounded by forests of oaks, chestnuts and pine where it is possible to observe a great variety of birdlife and fauna including deer, foxes, hares and others. At the same time, it has wonderful views and is convenient to Tuscany's main attractions. From May to September guests the price includes a tour of the fragrant herb garden followed by a cooked lunch made using fresh herbs and vegetables from the gardens.

Il Nido - Glicine The apartments Glicine and Vignetto are delightfully furnished and provide comfortable accommodation in a rustic setting for 5 guests, each containing a double bedroom and a triple bedroom. Each apartment enjoys wonderful countryviews and has an outdoor table and chairs.

Il Nido - Margherita Set out on two levels, the Margherita apartment has a lovely open living area downstairs comprising living / dining room with an open kitchen, an adjacent double bedroom and bathroom. Stairs lead up to an attic bedroom with twin beds.

Special Notes for Il Nido Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €200.00 per apartment and €500 for Villetta Rosetta is payable on arrival (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Services included and extras - Included in the holiday apartment rental are electricity, gas, house linen (not pool towels), use of the pools, solarium, outdoor areas, BBQ's.
- Final cleaning fees are included if the apartment is left in an orderly fashion;
- Additional cleaning can be requested at a cost of €15 per hour
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €15.00 per change per person;
- Heating charges are extra and are charged based on hours of use (there is a counter). The costs are per hour are as follows; Edera € 0,55, Margherita € 0,90, Glicine € 1,10, Vigneto € 1,20 and Il Roseto € 2,30 per hour.
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
Other information - Arrival time is between 3:00pm and 7:00pm, and checkout time is before 9:30am on the day of departure.
- The season for pool opening is from the beginning of May to the end of September (may be extended into October depending on the weather)
- Gloria, the local manager is most accommodating and can assist in booking local cooks, cooking lessons, massages, tours of the herb garden, olive oil factories or wineries.
- Fresh bread and newspapers are usually available daily.
