Description A quiet gravelled country lane leads up to the driveway of Villa Cacciatore in the hills to the east of Lucca. On the side of the villa a large covered terrace provides a perfect location for long summer lunches whilst in front of the villa a large gravelled terrace furnished with outdoor tables, a spacious gazebo, and shady trees and pot plants provides fantastic views over the countryside as far as the Pisa hills. The villa has been thoughtfully and tastefully renovated preserving the features and style of the original property whilst integrating modern comforts including air-conditioning, bathrooms and satellite TVs for each bedroom, internet connectivity and other modern comforts. The accommodation is arranged on two floors comprising nine bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor and two lounge rooms, two kitchens, a media room and two service bathrooms on the ground floor. The owners have preserved the earthy Tuscan colour tones of the original villa and the furniture is all of excellent quality mixed in with many antique pieces. Interconnecting doors can be closed to create two independent apartments if required. The front terrace can also be separated by positioning a hedge-in-pots between the two entrances. A winding path leads down to the outdoor health centre (+TV, DVD, HiFi) situated in a pergola surrounded by shady shrubs and the in-ground swimming pool with solarium, sun lounges and umbrellas is on a further terraced level and enjoys beautiful views of the countryside and gardens. A 15 minute amble down through the vineyards and orchards leads to the village of Segromino in Alto which has restaurants, trattorias, grocery shops, a pharmacy and banks. A very decent wine can be purchased directly from the cellar door, within 5 minutes walk from the villa.
Position The entrance driveway to Villa Cacciatore is located 500m down an unmade (flat) gravel road. There is parking in the driveway for at least 5 cars. Distances - Segromino in Alto - 1km (Post Office, Bank, Pharmacy, Restaurants, Grocery Shops)

Special Notes for Villa Cacciatore, Lucca, Italy Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €500 is payable on arrival at the property. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: - Normal arrival times are between 15:30 (3:30pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Departure is by 9:30 on the day of departure.
- The season for pool opening is mid May to the end of September;
Services included and extras: - At Villa Cacciatore a gala dinner is offered by the owner on arrival and is included in the price for renting the villa. Maria the cook is also available to assist with cooking services (breakfast, lunch, dinner, picnics) during the week or cooking lessons if there is any interest, although these services are extra (hourly rate+ ingredients) and would be paid directly to Maria.
- All cleaning is included in the weekly rental price and includes final cleaning, a freshen up on Mondays and Wednesdays, weekly change of linen, bath and pool towels, gardening and pool maintenance;
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included. Additional changes may be requested at the cost of €12 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided;
- Additional maid service can be requested at an additional cost of €15 per hour;
- Telephone calls will be charged on the basis of consumption;
- Electricity consumption is included in the price to rent Villa Cacciatore but does not include air-conditioning which is charged on the basis of consumption at 40 cents per Kw;
- Heating, if required, is payable on the basis of consumption of gas;
- Kitchen gas and water costs are included;
- High chairs and cots are available at an additional cost of € €50 per week;
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
- Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
- Pets may be acceptable if renting the entire villa however the owners consent must be obtained prior to arrival and is not guaranteed. Please advise this requirement when booking.
