DescriptionIl Pozzo has been completely restored to a high standard throughout and has been divided in two symmetrical and intercommunicating apartments, ideal accommodation for two families or two groups of friends holidaying together, or for use as a single villa. The villa is on two levels, with the kitchens and lounge rooms at ground level, opening to a spacious furnished portico, leading to the garden. The swimming pool is set in a panoramic position overlooking the surrounding countryside, characterised by olive trees and vineyards that are part of the farming estate. A short distance from the pool is a tennis court and five-a-side football pitch that are not part of the farm but can be used by the guests (on request). Only few metres away from the house is the main farm where guests can buy olive oil and local wines. The interiors are well furnished with country style pieces and are typical of a Tuscan farmhouse, with exposed beams and cotto floor tiles.

Celle sul Rigo is a panoramic hilltop village in Southern Tuscany with great views over Mount Amiata, Radicofani and the rolling hills towards the Val d'Orcia. You'll not find much tourism at Celle, it is a small, pleasant, characteristic Tuscan village with a friendly local population, a nice selection of bars, trattorias and general stores, and a lively piazza with great views over the Chiana valley. > more

Refundable security depositA refundable security deposit of € 400.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):- Mandatory cleaning fees of €10 per person are payable on arrival at the villa;
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
- Late arrival fees. We will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

- Electricity costs are included in the villa rental price;
- Heating (per week if required) - according to use of gas or electricity.
Other information- The season for pool opening is mid May to the last Saturday in September;
- Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
- Boats and bikes hire, food hampers, cooking and many other services mentioned on our booking form can be pre-arranged and prices will be provided on application.

At the centre of the town is the large Piazza del Campo, noted for the Palio horse race held each July and August and full of activity year round.
