Features - Homely feel in the middle of Venice
Description On the first floor of an elegant and noble building, situated in a sunny courtyard only a short distance from the Rialto bridge, picturesque fish market and the thirteenth-century Basilica of Frari is Apartment Artisti with its noted 'trifora' (tripartite gothic stone) windows. The entrance opens into a corridor and on the right is the entrance to a spacious and luminous living room with two divans, and a games table. This in turn leads through to a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 6 burner cook-top, electrical oven, microwave oven, a large fridge, washing machine and a long glass crystal table where 10 persons can eat. On the left at the entrance corridor are three double bedrooms (of which two can be transformed into twins), each with its own TV, and lovely views of the courtyard 'Campiello del Sol'. The master bedroom has a double bed and is decorated with a mix of modern art and traditional furniture. The two single rooms (red and blue) are fitted with wide single beds (90cm) which can be joined. The red room has a wonderful murano glass chandelier. There is also a safe for storing valuables. The apartment has two bathrooms - one with shower and the other one with a neo-classical bathtub that both open off the corridor. Ca' Artisti is nicely presented and the Venetian floors and exposed timber ceilings provide a lovely feeling of homeliness.

Special Notes for Ca' Artisti, San Polo, Venice, Italy Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to rental villa and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €250.00 is payable on arrival at the property (credit card authorisation). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: Normal arrival times are between 15:00 (3:00pm) and 19:30 (7:30 pm). Departure is by 10:00 on the day of departure. You will be met at the closest boat (Vaporetto) stop, unless you arrange a transfer in which event you will be met at the closest point to the apartment (please apply for water taxi prices) Services included and extras: - Final cleaning fees of €105.00 are not included in weekly rental and are payable locally.
- The contribution of €70 per week for electricity, gas and water is payable locally;
- Heating and air-conditioning use are included in weekly apartment rental prices
- The prices quoted are for occupancy of six guests. Up to an additional two guests can be accommodated on the divan bed, however a local supplement of €63 per person per week will be payable on arrival.
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking (usually €55 to 23:00 and €70 thereafter). Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 70.00 payable to the local manager;
- Baby cots can be requested and a supplement of €70 per stay is payable on arrival. Please note that linen is not provided for cots. Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager.
- Amongst our staff, we have some excellent cooks who are available to prepare home cooked meals in your apartment incorporating typical Venetian dishes. Costs are based on time and ingredients - please apply.

Ending at the Rialto bridge, the San Polo area is exactly in the centre of Venice, providing good access to all areas. The lively market area near the entrance to Rialto is handy to find a bargain, or shop for fresh produce to prepare at your apartment. Extending down to the San Rocco church, the area has many quaint canals, lovely piazzas and authentic trattorias (in Venice, try to avoid the 'tourist menu').> more

The most popular destination of travellers to Venice is the Piazza San Marco, at the end of the grand canal and featuring the wonderful Basilica San Marco with its golden mosaics and interiors. The area is surrounded by colourful lanes, tiny canals and shops by all the major brands.> more
