Description Ca' Formosa is a compact and comfortable apartment in a very convenient area of Venice. The recently renovated holiday rental accommodation is bright and furnished in Venetian style, and the owners' addition of small ornaments and paintings give it a wonderful character. A common stairway of the Palazzo leads up to the entrance door of the apartment on the first floor. The door opens into a central corridor from which other rooms can be accessed, and at the end, stairs lead up to the attic which has a single bedroom and access to the rooftop terrace - a fine place for enjoying the setting sun and fresh breezes in the evening. The kitchen has been very nicely renovated and has a lovely dining table for 6 guests under a large double window. The kitchen is very well equipped including a four burner cook-top, electric oven, large refrigerator with freezer, toaster and washing machine. Off the kitchen there is a fairly compact living room with a divan-bed that could be used for a further two guests if desired (please see notes for supplement payable). The master bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed and opens off the centre corridor. Adjacent is a bathroom that has been tastefully renovated with shower (no bath). We advise that the apartment ceilings are lower than normal. They are 2.3m tall (approx 7'6') and may create problems for very tall guests, or those who suffer claustrophobia.
Position The position of the apartment is ideal, being slightly out of the main shopping thoroughfares between St Marks and Rialto, but close to each. As a result it is a quiet are of quaint canals that is 10 minutes walk to each of St Marks and the Rialto Bridge. Distances - St Marks Square - 400m

Special Notes for Ca' Formosa, Venice, Italy Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to rental villa and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €250.00 is payable on arrival at the property (credit card authorisation). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: Normal arrival times are between 15:00 (3:00pm) and 19:30 (7:30 pm). Departure is by 10:00 on the day of departure. You will be met at the closest boat (Vaporetto) stop, unless you arrange a transfer in which event you will be met at the closest point to the apartment (please apply for water taxi prices) Services included and extras: - Final cleaning fees of €75.00 are not included in weekly rental and are payable locally.
- Rental prices are for up to three occupants of the apartment. Additional guests (up to three) can be requested at an additional cost of €63 per week (or part thereof) each.
- The consumption of electricity, gas and water is included in the apartment rental price
- Heating and air-conditioning use are included in weekly apartment rental prices
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking (usually €55 to 23:00 and €70 thereafter). Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 70.00 payable to the local manager;
- Baby cots can be requested and a supplement of €70 per stay is payable on arrival. Please note that linen is not provided for cots. Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager.
- Amongst our staff, we have some excellent cooks who are available to prepare home cooked meals in your apartment incorporating typical Venetian dishes. Costs are based on time and ingredients - please apply.

The Rialto Bridge is one of two major bridges crossing over the main canal (Canale Grande). It is 10 minutes walk from the San Marco piazza in the direction of the transport terminal and is an important shopping precinct, colourful and very central.> more
